Fluminense reappears and starts pre-season in CT Carlos Castellio – Fluminense Football Club

After a 2023 full of glories and unforgettable moments, Fluminense began on Wednesday (03/01) its preparations for the challenges that await it in 2024. Part of the squad, it consists mostly of players who have not participated in the Club World Cup competition. Saudi Arabia Cup, returned for pre-season at CT Carlos Castillo.

The other athletes are still on vacation and will perform again soon. Among those present was defender Antonio Carlos, the first reinforcement announced by Fluminense for this season. The 30-year-old defender, who was playing for American club Orlando City, signed with the club until the end of 2026.

Defender Manuel, who also returned to training on Wednesday, was allowed to return to training after serving a suspension. However, the defender will only be able to return to the field in February. Uruguayan attacking midfielder Leo Fernandez is scheduled to return next Sunday (07/01).

Wednesday morning featured a lot of work in the gym, with physical tests led by physical preparation and physiology. The cast returns to CT in the afternoon to continue their full-time activities.

Socks: Arthur, Dohman, Edinho, Eric Nunes, Gustavo Abes, Thiago Henrique, Wallace.
Attack: Isaac, Joao Neto, Lilly, Samuel Granada
