Fluminense have announced their third signing of the 2023 season. After right-back Goga and defender Vitor Mendes, both formerly from Atlético, Tricolor have signed up for goalkeeper Vitor Odes, Cruzeiro has revealed. The 24-year-old has been at Martimo in Portugal, and signed with the Rio de Janeiro club until the end of 2025.
Returning to Brazilian football since 2021, when it ended with Martímo, the goalkeeper spoke about the deal with the Rio team.
The goalkeeper said: “Expectations are the best it can be. I’m very happy and excited, and I hope I can help Fluminense a lot. It’s a great honor for me to play for this great club.”
Cruzeiro revealed that the goalkeeper will find some of his former teammates, such as defender Manuel and goalkeeper Fibio, Rabosa’s idol and “mentor” in his adaptation to the Minas Gerais club’s professional squad in 2018.
In addition to these, Fred, the current manager of Fluminense, also made up Cruzeiro alongside Vitor Eudes while he was still playing.

Another important step is the renewal with striker Jermón Cano, midfielder Paulo Henrique Ganso, midfielder Andre and defender Manuel, and extending the relationship with coach Fernando Diniz.
