Florianopolis hosts regional science and technology fair

The 12th Regional Science and Technology Fair was held on Tuesday (20) in Ginásio do State Institute of Education (IEE)Under the slogan “Exploring the Frontiers”, the event was attended by 150 students from 60 public schools, who presented 60 works under the supervision of 60 teachers.

The Minister of Education of Santa Catarina, Aristides Simadón, stressed the importance of student learning as a priority. “Governor Jorginho asks us to make the learning of our students the main focus and that is what we strive to achieve every day. He stressed that the collaboration of the municipalities is essential so that we can make Santa Catarina a place with education that benefits our youth and the development of the state.

Since the beginning of August, several fairs have been held throughout the state, and many more are still scheduled for this month and September. Fairs have already been held in cities such as Rio do Sul, Taiu, Mafra and Ituporanga, while Tubarão, Chapeco, Blomino, São Lourenço do Oeste, Campos Novos, Curitibanos, Brusque, Itapiranga and São Joaquim will still hold their editions.
