Flamengo have agreed to sell Fabricio Bruno for R$83 million to West Ham from England
One of Flamengo’s most notable current stars is the departure of defender Fabricio Bruno to Europe. This is because the Rio club agreed to sell the defender to English club West Ham. To rely on the 28-year-old, the English team will pay 15 million euros (83.6 million Brazilian reals at current prices).
According to information received from journalist Vinny Casagrande, Fabricio Bruno will sign with West Ham, Lucas Paqueta’s current team, Crea do Ninho, for five years. The first installment of the sale will be paid in cash and the second 12 months after signing the contract. Finally, the third and last, 24 months after the agreement.
Having already negotiated, Fabricio Bruno will play for Flamengo in two more matches, on Wednesday (22), against Amazonas, in the Brazilian Cup, and on May 28, against Millonarios (Cologne), in the Libertadores. The defender will then travel to introduce himself to the British club.
At Flamingo
Fabricio Bruno signed for Flamengo from Red Bull Bragantino in February 2022 for 15 million reais. Since then, in the red and black, the defender has made 115 appearances, scoring five goals and three assists. Furthermore, the number 15 holds three titles: the Libertadores, the Brazilian Cup, and the Carioca Championship.
The penultimate match in a Flamengo shirt
With Fabricio Bruno on the verge of leaving the club, Flamengo faces Amazonas on Wednesday (22), in a match expected to book a place in the round of 16 of the Brazilian Cup. The match will be held at the Arena da Amazonia, starting at 9:30 pm (Brasilia time). It is worth noting that Mengao has the advantage of a draw in the confrontation, as it won the first leg at the Maracana Stadium with a score of 1-0, but any tie in the overall score leads to a penalty shootout.
If Flamengo is on the field, then Coluna do Fla is broadcast live on YouTube. In this way, the red and black will follow the best narratives with Rafa Pinedo. Prabo will be joined by Tulio Rodriguez on commentary. Furthermore, Simon Ledo and Leo José will report live from the stadium in Manaus. Finally, Premiere, on pay-per-view, and SporTV, on closed channel, also show the game.
