A major fire destroyed a major shopping mall in Warsaw, Poland, on Sunday (12). In photos circulating on social media, flames can be seen spreading throughout the building and the Polish capital is covered in smoke. So far there are no reports of deaths. See the end of the article

The tragedy occurred in the Bialolica area. According to local media, the fire destroyed 80% of the complex, which includes 1,400 stores. Local authorities expressed their admiration for the speed with which the fire spread.
According to the fire department, the fire was likely started intentionally. However, the investigations are still preliminary.
The fire brigade spokesman said: “Such a rapid spread of the fire is an unusual situation. The fire spread quickly perhaps due to flammable materials accumulated inside, especially textiles. We still do not know the cause of the fire. Experts will determine that.” To local media.
Because of the smoke, local authorities asked residents to close all windows.
