Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have announced donations of millions of dollars to NGOs working to advance gender equality through new donations. The official home page for Monday’s founding, The Archewell Foundation, has been announced. In all, four organizations will receive grants, including Smart Works, a British charity that helps women find jobs and provides training and professional clothing for job interviews.

Meghan Markle became patron of a British NGO in January 2019, when she was still a member of the British Royal Family, and has continued to support the foundation even after leaving the Crown in early 2020. In an interview with Hello! Magazine, CEO of Smart Works said: “We are very grateful to Meghan, the Duchess of Sussex and the Archewell Foundation for their continued support of Smart Works’ mission and continued growth.
