Find out the list of winners of the 2023 Gotham Awards

The Gotham Awards 2023, famous for celebrating independent works and marking the start of awards season in the United States, lit up New York on Monday night (27). The event awarded the Best Picture title to “Past Lives,” an acclaimed A24 production. Moreover, the French work “Anatomy of a Fall” won the Best International Film and Best Screenplay awards.

The triumph of emerging talent

Standing out as one of the night’s big winners, A24’s “Vidas Passas,” an eagerly awaited Celine Song original that will premiere on January 25. However, despite its greater focus on independent works, which is different from major Hollywood films, the festival should be celebrated and recognized, as it ultimately only rewards the best, which can boost the careers of not only the actors, but also the best.
