Find out the average earnings of an app driver in 10 capitals

App drivers provided information so that the survey could be conducted.

The 2024 ranking, prepared by StopClub, reveals the profitability of app drivers in major Brazilian cities. The calculations were based on information provided by the drivers themselves, highlighting income, expenses, earnings and weekly working hours.

In São Paulo, drivers earned an average income of R$6,428.57, with expenses of R$3,926.96, resulting in a profit of R$2,501.61 after a 60-hour work week.

Belo Horizonte had the same total revenue of R$6,428.57, but with lower expenses of R$3,622.80, providing a higher profit of R$2,805.77, with a 54-hour work week.

Porto Alegre, which also had revenues of R$6,428.57, had expenses of R$3,900.99, resulting in a profit of R$2,527.58, while drivers worked 50 hours per week.

In Rio de Janeiro, revenues were slightly lower, at R$6,000.00, and total expenses were R$3,585.69, resulting in a profit of R$2,414.31 for a 54-hour work week.

Curitiba recorded revenues of R$5,785.71, expenses of R$3,897.47 and profits of R$1,888.24 after a 56-hour work week.

In Goiânia, drivers had an income of R$5,142.86, with expenses of R$3,101.36, resulting in a profit of R$2,041.50, working 54 hours per week.

Fortaleza generated revenues of R$5,142.86 and expenses of R$3,195.34, resulting in a profit of R$1,947.52 after a 56-hour work week.

Salvador had the same revenue of R$5,142.86, but with expenses of R$3,430.67, resulting in a profit of R$1,712.19 after a 54-hour work week.

In Brasilia, drivers recorded revenues of R$5,215.71 and expenses of R$3,895.07, resulting in a profit of R$1,320.64 for a 50-hour work week.

Finally, Recife generated the lowest revenue of R$4,285.71, with expenses of R$3,137.44, resulting in a profit of R$1,148.27 after 50 working hours per week.

These values ​​show that although total revenue is relatively high, large expenses such as fuel, maintenance and other costs significantly reduce drivers’ net profits.
