Many people who have a business in the country may end up needing credit at one time or another. For these difficult times, Caixa Econômica Federal has created a Credit Caixa Temline from loans Targeted at Small Business Owners (MEI) and individuals who want to do so.

Limits are currently up to R$1,000 for individuals and up to R$3,000 for MEI. In June, the Chamber approved a provision to increase the loan cap to R$1,500 and R$4,500 respectively, but the change has yet to happen.
While the increase is not taking place, the line of credit that is part of the Digital Microcredit Simplification Program for Entrepreneurs (digital SIM card) follows the old rules. Find out the terms and how to request money.
Caixa Tem credit terms
All program resources come from the Separation Compensation Fund (FGTS) and are guaranteed by Caixa’s Microfinance Guarantee Fund (FGM). Loan terms are slightly different for individuals and MEIs, check out:
- For those who want to do: a maximum of R$1,000, an interest rate of 1.95% up to 3.99% per month and up to 24 months for payment.
- For those who are already MEI: Limit of R$3,000, with an interest rate of 1.99% up to 3.60% per month and up to 24 months to pay.
Credit is also available to customers Negationas long as the debt does not exceed R$3,000 on January 31, 2022. The small business owner must have at least 12 months of activity before applying.
Rental instructions
Those who still do not have a digital savings account need to download the Caixa app in their mobile application store (Play Store or App Store), then click on “Register and open your account” and submit the required data and documents. Customers should already access the ‘Update your registration’ option and submit the requested information.
After opening the account or analyzing Caixa, the customer will be able to contract the credit in the “Loan – Credit CAIXA Tem” menu. If the application is approved, the funds are deposited directly into the contractor’s account.
