Organizers expect more than 300 members of Congress to attend Botucatu
On August 13 and 14, the Faculty of Agricultural Sciences (FCA) at Unisp, Botucatu Campus, will host the V São Paulo Soil Science Meeting, a semi-annual event organized by the São Paulo State Center (NESP) of the Brazilian Soil Science Society. (CBCS).
The São Paulo Soil Science Meeting (EPCiS) is a technical and scientific event intended for a diverse audience that includes teachers, researchers, undergraduate and graduate students, rural producers, agricultural technicians and other professionals in fields related to soil science. It is expected that more than 300 participants will participate in this fifth session in the program, which includes more than 14 lectures, in addition to the presentation of scientific works.
Among the objectives of the meeting are: promoting the dissemination of technical and scientific knowledge in the academic and professional environment; Encourage active public participation in relevant discussions on issues related to soil science, with the aim of preserving this vital resource within the state of São Paulo, with the aim of sustainable production; Stimulating the exchange of information between researchers, teachers, professionals and students from different regions of the state, and finally, increasing the visibility of the São Paulo State Center (NESP) of the Brazilian Soil Science Society (SBCS), seeking a more active participation in government bodies and funding agencies in the field of soil science.
