The Amazonas government, through Fundação de Amparo à Pesquisa do Estado do Amazonas (Fapeam), has joined the international call “Joint Transnational: Open & Reusable Research Data & Software – ORD – Support for Open Science (called CHIST-ERA – ORD – Support for Open Science), implemented in partnership with the National Council of State Institutions for Research Support (Confap) and the CHIST-ERA Consortium of the European Innovation Council.
The initiative will support transnational collaborative research, technology and innovation projects that apply open science principles, and aim to accelerate the emergence of tools, standards, and services to promote openness and reuse of data and software.
Researchers from Amazonas can participate in the initiative. The deadline for submission of bids is until December 14, through the platform https://www.chistera.eu/call-ord-announcement🇧🇷 The result of the recommended proposals for funding will be announced in June 2023.

Supporters of Amazon’s proposed funding proposals, by the secretariat of the so-called CHIST-ERA – ORD – Apoio à Ciência Aberta, must fill out the online form specified in Portuguese and submit it via Fapeam’s Information Management System (SigFapeam), available at www.fapeam.am.gov.br🇧🇷
To access the form, the bidder must use their pre-registered login and password. In addition to submitting the online form, submitting the proposal requires the submission of additional documents to attach to the system, as specified in the call.
