Fabinho Soldado avoids Corinthians deal for new coach

Corinthians continues to look for a new coach for the professional team. This Wednesday (5), after Timão’s 3-2 win over Vitoria, football executive director Fabinho Soldado spoke about the club’s search for a new coach.

“There is talk about possible names. We have some options and this week it will be important for us to make the best decision so that Corinthians has that coach as soon as possible. There are several coaches mentioned as I told you. We are analyzing them, and at the moment I avoid talking about names. There are coaches being analyzed.”

Soldado also avoided setting a deadline for the announcement of the new coach. The professional told the press that the club’s search is still in the analysis phase, without a specific goal.

“Let’s not talk about dates. We know the importance and the need. But let’s analyze it more calmly to make the right decision. I appreciate what was done today with the coach who was very well received, and the importance of the work that is being developed. He added: “Tomorrow he will give training and we will analyze it day by day.”

The black and white team returns to the field on Sunday (7), when it faces Cruzeiro at the Mineirão. On the same day, in Paradão, Vitória hosts Criciúma.
