Former Atletico Madrid, Nathan scored a goal for Fluminense against Cruzeiro
On loan from Atletico, midfielder Nathan scored the third goal for Fluminense in a 3-0 win over Cruzeiro, on Tuesday (12), in Mineiro, in the second leg of the Round of 16 of the Copa do Brasil. Leaving the field, the player provoked the heavenly team, but with false information.
“Here I didn’t lose to them, no,” he exclaimed the moment he recorded and posted it
Nathan clearly mentioned a time when he defended Atlético and Cruzeiro was his main contender. The midfielder remained at Alfinegro FC between 2018 and 2021.
In that period, he starred in the main classic in Minas Gerais three times. There were two victories and… one defeat.
In 2019, he came off the bench to make his debut in the Clasico with a goal and helped Atlético win 2-0, in a match played in Independientia.
The following year, he was a key player in Atletico’s 2-1 victory over Campeonato Mineiro in Mineiro.
Defeat in 2021: 1-0 to Cruzeiro in Gigante da Pampulha. At the time, Nathan was in reserve and came off the bench to replace right-back Goga during the match.
