Ex-American and former Cruzeiro coach invites player to fight after match – Rádio Itatiaia

Anderson Moreira, technical at Sport and with Passes Across América and Cruzeiro, had to restrain himself this Saturday (15) after winning 2-1 against Retro, in the first leg of the Pernambuco Championship Final, at Arena Pernambuco, in Recife. The coach even called the opponents to battle.

Anderson called the player “weak” several times in a row. Complete “Come here, come here. Come here, come. Weak.” The match transfer photos captured the moment, right after the final whistle.

The skirmish occurred with forward Geva and goalkeeper Jan, both from Retro. After the match, Anderson Moreira commented on the ring.

“I was there in my technical area, not getting on the field. Their guard walked by and sneered. You have to say things as long as you’re respectful. If you lose the game, as it happens, we take it and leave, man, go,” he said at a news conference.

“There is a game ahead of us, nothing has been decided. We respect the Retrô team a lot. At least I think so, when you have an unstable result, and there are still a lot of games ahead of you, you have to focus on that. The goalkeeper was in a provocative tone that I think is unnecessary.”

America and Cruzeiro

Anderson Moreira had a stint in América as a caretaker player in 2009, and between 2016 and 2018 he effectively captained Coelho. In this last period there have been 107 matches and won the Série B of the Campeonato Mineiro.
