On Friday (26), the Government of Espírito Santo handed over the renovation works of the São José do Calsado Fair Park, located in the Divinia district. The investment, of about R$2 million, was made possible through the use of funds from the Cidades Fund, which is administered by the General Secretariat of Government (SEG).
The garden has an area of about 11,000 square metres, and has been equipped with a structure that includes, among other things, the construction of a stage for concerts and other events, nine accessible restrooms, two sheds, as well as paving.
“This investment will boost the local economy, by holding events such as shows and exhibitions,” said Secretary of State for Government Affairs María Emanuela Alves Pedroso, who represented Governor Renato Casagrande at the opening ceremony.
According to the owner of the SEG, the resource transferred directly from the Cidades Fund to the Municipal Investment Fund of São José do Calzado, totaling R$ 1,998,059.17, will encourage tourism, boost the agricultural sector and provide more leisure and quality of life for the residents of the area. municipality and its surroundings.
“Under the leadership of Governor Renato Casagrande, we are investing in all municipalities in Espírito Santo, in partnership with city councils, so that our state is developed in a balanced and systematic way,” noted María Emanuela.
The renovation of the Exhibition Park is part of the investment package of the municipality of São José do Calzado. In all, thanks to the resources of the Cidades Fund alone, nearly R$ 13 million has been invested in the works and in the preparation of a range of structuring projects, in partnership between the state government and the municipal administration.
