Epson launches the EcoTank L5590 that is up to 50% faster than the previous generation

a Epson, the global leader in digital printing and imaging, has introduced the new EcoTank L5590, a multi-function printer that delivers economy, quality and productivity for small and medium businesses. It uses an ink tank system that allows you to print up to 7,500 pages in black and 6,000 pages in color using a single set of bottles.

In addition, the new version also features a 30-sheet automatic document feeder, 250-sheet input tray, 2.4-inch color LCD display, and wireless and Ethernet connectivity.

The device is compatible with PrecisionCore Heat-Free printhead technology, which is responsible for the higher speed that provides superior print quality without using heat, ensuring greater energy savings.

In addition, the equipment is made from 30% recycled plastic, and the packaging is made from 80% recycled cardboard and contains no polystyrene. In total, more than 80 million units of the EcoTank line have been sold worldwide, highlighting the quality of the printer and customers’ interest in sustainable products.

The EcoTank L5590 features a full, multi-function interface that prints, copies, scans and faxes. The maximum print speed is 33 pages per minute (ppm) in black and 20 ppm in color, as well as an ISO print speed of 15 ppm in black and 8 ppm in color.

It also features connectivity via the Epson Smart Panel app, for simple and intuitive setup and operation directly from smartphones and tablets. Through this, users can perform 100% guided configuration of the equipment, which has Wi-Fi, Wi-Fi Direct and Ethernet connectivity for workgroups.
