Important tips for young people who want to start a business? The “America’s Young Leaders Initiative (YLAI)” fellowship program, funded by the U.S. Department of State, is seeking young Brazilian entrepreneurs to participate in a six-week program in the United States in 2024. The program, which focuses on the field of business and social entrepreneurship, will offer 20 vacancies for young Brazilians and applications will be accepted until February 15, 2023. YLAI brings individuals from Latin America, Canada, and the Caribbean to the United States each year to expand their leadership and entrepreneurial skills and networks for capacity building workshops and opportunities to learn and share experiences with their peers.
The program is open to Brazilian entrepreneurs who meet the following requirements:
- Between 25 and 35 years of age on January 1, 2024;
- Live in Brazil;
- A history of developing their own business or social enterprise for at least two years;
- Proficiency in English is required.
Due to the intensive nature of the program, candidates must fully focus on their professional development and program activities, which consist of four weeks and asynchronous activities in the United States.
