One of the greatest musicians of all time, Elton John
He gave the last performance of his career in the UK and was thrilled when he took the stage at the Glastonbury Festival, which was held on Sunday (25) at Worthy Farm, located in England.
The ceremony was attended by personalities such as pilot Lewis Hamilton, actor Aaron Taylor-Johnson, and actress Anna Taylor-Joy. In addition to her husband, director David Furnish.
The singer was most moved when he performed “Don't Let The Sun Go Down On Me” in tribute to his friend George Michael, who turns 60 on the Sunday of the show. George died in 2016 at the age of 53.
“This is a very special day today. I wondered how I would handle it. George Michael was one of Britain's finest singer-songwriters. He was my friend and an inspiration and today he would have turned 60, so I want to dedicate this music” to his memory and all the songs he left us, And she is very beautiful. This is for you, George,” John said before singing the song.
