In an interview with BBC Radio London, the singer said that he is acquiring a lot of terriers around the country. Thus, according to him, it will be possible to make the environment more sustainable by planting new trees. “I feel like I’m going to grab my head every time I say that, because my business is not very sustainable when I go to play in the cities, but I do my best,” he said.
Ed also said that he is already implementing his plan at his home in Suffolk. In this way, the singer also revealed that he has a beehive and a huge lake in the house, with eel, salamander and more. “I have a huge hive. I have a huge wildlife pond with newts and salamanders and there is a snake living there and hedgehogs.”
Finally, Ed Sheeran highlights the importance of a public figure who also highlights issues related to sustainability. “What matters with sustainability and being a public figure is that when people support it, people suddenly try to find things that make them special,” the Briton added.
