Orlando – Disney Adventure is the name of the seventh ship in the Disney Cruise Line fleet, and no launch date has been set yet. The sixth ship, Disney Treasure, will open in December 2024, it was announced this week.

This was stated by Thomas Mazloum, president of Disney Signature Experiences, during a presentation by Josh D’Amaro, president of Disney Parks, Experiences and Products, during the Destination D23 event, organized by the official Disney fan club, Disney D23.

He stressed that “Disney Cruise Line is preparing for a period of growth that it has never witnessed before,” referring to the three new ships that will arrive, in addition to a new Caribbean island called “Lookout Cay” at Lighthouse Point. The new island, scheduled to open in 2024, will pay tribute to the Bahamas’ tourist attractions. Disney Cruise Line’s other island is Castaway Cay, which opened 25 years ago, at the same time as the company.

The seventh ship will sail from Singapore towards Southeast Asia. Disney Magic, Disney Dream, Disney Wonder, Disney Fantasy and Disney Wish are part of the DCL fleet. Disney Treasure will be released in December next year.

During the Disney Fan Conference, Disney Cruise Line executives talked a little behind the scenes of the company, from then-Disney CEO Michael Eisner’s inspiration for classic old ships, to revolutions in Disney’s style of sailing, such as a revolving dinner theme and high-level entertainment with The park and detailed design of each element. One event participant was drawn and won a trip for four to Disney Treasure.
