WhatsApp is actually the most used messaging app in the world on Android phones and iPhone (iOS). Top guaranteed for its ease of use, one of the reasons why the messenger is so popular. Over the years, WhatsApp has released many add-ons; But despite this, some of the features that users highly demand are still present in the app.
With this in mind, we at Pronatec.pro have compiled some of the functions that are not yet available on WhatsApp, but that can greatly improve the experience of using the app. I want to know what? So, check it out during this review!
8 functions that do not yet exist in WhatsApp that will improve the use of the application
Find out what each one is below.
a look: Hiding the last access time of WhatsApp can be a big mistake: Understand why
1. “Stickers” folder (“Stickers”)
The much requested feature by users that WhatsApp has not yet provided is folders to organize stickers. The function can be useful to find your saved posters more easily, for example, or even to keep the list more organized, separated by topic.
In this way, it will be possible to create folders with stickers and thus send them faster in conversations with friends. Nowadays, the messaging app allows users to search for stickers using the magnifying glass, but the search tool has some flaws, in this case, it ends up being a little bit to find specific stickers.
2. Message scheduling
Another function that WhatsApp can have is to schedule messages, in the same way as in email applications such as Gmail, for example. With it, it will be possible to program messages so that texts are sent on predetermined days and times, facilitating some transmission. Using this feature, the user can, for example, schedule messages when he goes on vacation. Or, help send happy birthday reminders and messages to contacts.
Keep up!
3. Busy status
A feature that also interests many messaging users is the ability to activate Busy Mode in WhatsApp. The function could work similarly to the tool on MSN, where it was possible to add a red flag next to the name and around the image so that contacts receive an alert that the user is not connected to the Internet.
In this way, it will be possible to take some time to respond to messages without much inconvenience. In addition, it would also be interesting if the function disables – for a moment – the notifications of the messenger, in order to avoid possible distractions.
4. Security features to hide specific conversations
The messenger should pay more attention to biometrics and facial recognition tools on mobile phones, and use them for privacy-focused jobs. One of them could allow users to activate security tools to hide certain conversations, for example.
This way, you will have to use your fingerprint or face ID to open a conversation with a particular contact. As a result, it will ensure more protection for conversations dealing with confidential matters.
Other functions that should be present in WhatsApp
5. Use GIF as profile picture
Another option that can be available in WhatsApp is to add animated GIFs or videos to the messenger’s profile picture. A similar feature is already available on Telegram, and in this sense the Meta messaging app can launch a similar function to make profile pictures more fun.
6. Allow strangers to send messages
Another security feature that WhatsApp can add is message requests from unknown contacts. With the function, it will be necessary for contacts not saved in the phone book of the phone to ask the recipient’s permission before sending a message – as is already the case in Instagram, for example. The sender, in turn, will only be able to send the text after the recipient accepts the request. This will avoid receiving spam and scams.

7. Warning and/or disable screenshots
Another feature that Messenger users desperately want is screen capture warnings – the famous ‘print’. WhatsApp has not yet made the functionality available and has yet to offer indications that it will release it in the future. However, the feature will be very useful in knowing when users are taking screenshots in the conversation tab. Additionally, another possibility is to disable screenshots in your conversations, which could increase security regarding the content you send and receive.
8. Change people into groups
Finally, the muting function of specific people in a group will allow the user not to receive notifications from the contact even when participating in a group chat with him. Therefore, instead of muting the entire group and stopping receiving chat alerts, it will be possible to turn off notifications for only one contact.
