Diogo Barbosa has been released before Association This Friday to travel to Rio de Janeiro and conclude negotiations with Fluminense. The winger is no longer defending the club from Rio Grande do Sul, and from 3 July, when the transfer window reopens, he can be organized and defend the new club.

Information about the launch of the pavilion was confirmed by correspondent Jeremias Wernick, from RBSTV. On Thursday, the player had already worked separately from the group. While the Grêmio trained in CT Luiz Carvalho’s garden, Diogo stayed in the gym to do the physical activities.
This morning, the athlete again worked at CT and then said goodbye to his teammates to go to Rio de Janeiro, where he will complete the deal with Fluminense.
Having already played six matches in Brazil, Diogo will not be able to enter the Tricolor Stadium again, as another team will prevent him from playing in the competition. He tends to keep working in the flu department until he is able to act.
The team arrived at Grêmio in early 2020, after being signed from Palmeiras. For Rio Grande do Sul, he played 106 matches, scoring two goals and nine assists during his time at Porto Alegre. The contract with the Gaucho club will run until the end of the year.
