Devolver Digital decided to mock SEGA because of the announcement that accompanied the reveal of Sonic Origins, DLC, and pre-order add-ons.
SEGA distorted the announcement by revealing two different versions of Sonic Origins, the set gearing up to commemorate the first blue hedgehog games, accompanied by a weird menu telling us what each release includes, what’s included in reservations and even DLC.
Those who buy the €39.99 Standard Edition will not have “Character Animations in the Main Menu” or “Camera Controls in the Carrot Menu”, something available in the Premium Fun Pack DLC or in the Digital Deluxe Edition, which also includes “Challenging Missions” .
Also, the “Letterbox Background” add-on is not available in either version, only for those who book or buy the Fun Pack.
Devolver Digital decided to make fun of the situation and presented a guide that reveals what each Trek to Yomi copy and reservations includes.
Trek to Yomi is the publisher’s new indie game that features a black and white action game featuring samurai to honor Japanese cinema.
It sounds impossible, but Trek to Yomi pre-orders include the full game on all platforms, including the “final credits” as Devolver Digital says to clearly mock SEGA.
Our Marketing Department has created a handy guide for pre-ordering From Trip to My Day.
