Cruzeiro’s board was not at all satisfied with the performance of the VAR in the tie match with Ituano, on Tuesday evening (5), at Noveli Junior Stadium, in Ito. So much so that, according to Itatiaia, he will enter with official representation in the Brazilian Football Confederation (CBF) due to Rabosa’s first goal, which was canceled after a VAR check.
During Itatiaia’s Sports Day, refereeing analyst Marcio Resende de Freitas noted an irregularity in the disqualification of Cruzeiro’s goal. (see video below).
There has been a wave of criticism on social media for the way the video referee has painted it. Cruzeiro himself mocked it on Twitter.
“Does anyone understand these VAR fonts? They eliminated the error because of the squiggly fonts.”
In addition to demanding that the goal be abolished, Cruzeirense’s direction was also dissatisfied with the work of Bruno Arleu de Araújo, field referee. The application of yellow cards to the Celestial team was, from the board’s point of view, completely wrong.
