Cruzeiro defeats Blumenau again and reaches the semi-finals of Serie A | volleyball

Cruzeiro reached the semi-finals of the 2022/23 Men’s Volleyball Super League. The team did not give Blumenau chances and won again, now 3 sets to 0, on Tuesday night, in Ginásio do Riacho, in Contagem. The partials were 25/15, 25/22, and 25/17.

In the first duel between the two teams, in the best of three Superliga quarter-final series, Cruzeiro had already beaten Blumenau, three sets to one, in Santa Catarina.

The other quarter-final matches are: Susanoo x Guarulhos (1 to 0); Minas x Sesi-SP (1 to 0) and Sao Jose dos Campos x Campinas (1 to 0). Cruzeiro will face the winner of the Sao Jose vs. Campinas match.

What could have been a balanced start has, little by little, become partly Cruzeiro-dominated. With powerful serving and attacking, the Minas Gerais team managed to dictate pace and open an advantage and close at 25 to 15.

Cruzeiro followed ahead, staying ahead of the scoreboard. However, Blumenau played a more balanced game and made fewer mistakes. However, the Heavenly Squad did not lose control of the dispute. The second set ended with a score of 25-22.
