Corinthians’ target for next season, midfielder Philippe Coutinho appears to have different plans for the near future of his career. According to midfielder Douglas Luiz, who plays with Coutinho at Aston Villa, the player is happy in English football and is in no hurry to return to Brazilian football.
Douglas also commented that he wanted to return to Brazilian football with Coutinho, but to play for Vasco da Gama. It is worth noting that the players appeared in the basic categories of the club from Rio de Janeiro.
“He’s very happy. We always talk and always joke about going back to Vasco together. I hope one day it will happen for us to play together there.” He’s happy here, our focus here. He’s 30 now and he can play at a high level until he’s 35, and he’s in no rush to go back to Brazil now.”He told the midfielder, ESPN.
“The rumors happen more with the window open, it has priority for the club, who think that because he’s not playing here he might want to leave. But he is happy here, I scored the goal and went to give him a hug. I always try to praise him, be on his sideHe finished.
Still without much progress for Coutinho, Timão continues his preparations with an eye on the upcoming Campeonato Paulista. So far, the club has signed left back Mateus Bedou and striker Angel Romero.
