the match between Corinthians And the Fluminensevalid for the return of the semi-finals of the Copa del Rey, Thursday, 8pm (GMT), at the Neo Química Arena, has a character on the edge of the pitch with a history in both teams: coach Fernando Dinez.
Now 48, Fernando Dinez was born in Patos de Minas-MG, but went with his family to São Paulo when he was still a baby, at nine months old.
In the capital of São Paulo, he grew up in Villa Emma, east of the city, and gradually rose to prominence in futsal, being a phenomenon in the courts. Ten years have passed between indoor football and the Deniz Stadium, especially at Juventus da Moca and General Motors (GM).
At one point, Moleki Traviso, while still young, forced him to choose only one type of terrain, and the pitch was the choice of the attacking midfielder. From there, he played with Guarani and Palmeiras, but without much fame, until his arrival at Parque São Jorge in 1997.

At the time, Deniz was bought from Juventus, the rights holder for access to Timao. The show was alongside Túlio Maravilha, the superstar backed by Bank Excel Econômico, who was the club’s partner that season. In 1998, he became a frequent choice in coach Vanderley Luxembourg’s squad. Interestingly enough, Luxa also took the player to rival Palmeiras in 1996.
He took up the field for the last time in July 1998, when he was traded to Parana FC.
Fernando Diniz has arrived in Fluminense For the Brazil 2000 Championship. It was a period of rebuilding the club after the difficult end of the 1990s, and he was a key player in most of the matches in which he participated, staying there for three years.

He has always been a very tactical player, playing most of the time open-ended on the left side, despite being a right-hander. In addition to playing with Romario, he has played with other athletes who gained fame in the flu, such as midfielder Marcao, midfielder Roger, and strikers Rooney and Magno Alves.
In 2003, he was traded to Flamengo for Lopez, but without the same luster. He passed through clubs such as Cruzeiro and Santos before ending his career in 2008 in Gamma DF.
