Corinthians train possession of the ball and keep an eye on the duel against Ferroviria

Corinthians are back at CT Dr. Joaquim Grava on Saturday morning for another activity with focus on the Paulista Championship debut. Timão faces the Ferroviária, on Tuesday, 9 p.m., at the Neo Química Arena.

The only Corinthians victim in Saturday’s preparations was midfielder Rooney. The Timão midfielder has yet to recover from the pain in his right hamstring and is undergoing treatment with the club’s physiotherapy team.

The rest of the athletes functioned normally. After warming up with the physical preparation team, the Corinthians players held possession of the ball and marked on a reduced court. After that, Silvino held a group training session with the group.

Sunday’s Alvinegro team will still have to prepare to face Ferroviária. Timão has been running the preparatory season since January 10 with a focus on starting activities in 2022.

It is worth noting that to face Araraquara, coach Sylvinho has already confirmed some names in Tuesday’s starting line-up. Striker Gustavo Mantoin, for example, will be one of the 11 main coaches of the fencing.
