Corinthians sends the defender’s release from the base to the Portuguese team; Learn the details

Corinthians sent Alemao defender Rahil, an athlete from the Alfinegra base, to Portimonense, from Portugal. The player has a relationship with the Alvinegra team until the end of January 2024 and now he must follow in his footsteps in Europe – he is already in the European country to handle the final formalities of the deal.

Portimonense has former Corinthians Under-20 coach, Dyego Coelho, as captain of the B team, which may have been a major factor in the deal happening. The coach has already led Alemão to the Timão Sub-20 team, in 2020, the year the defender arrived at Parque São Jorge.

The defender has already played in 41 matches for the base of Viegra, scoring two goals, receiving only two yellow cards and has never been sent off. The athlete was involved in the two trophy disputes for Corinthians, in 2022 and 2023. However, in the last edition, Alemao ended up making a wrath on the bench for the team captained by Danilo.

The 20-year-old has never played for the main team, but has been a frequent part of training in the first team.
