In this way, the team goes to the field with: Alan Gobetti, Leo Mana, Alimao, Robert Renan, and Reginaldo; Mandaca, Matheus Araújo, Biro, and Keven; Giovanni and Felipe Augusto.
On the bench, coach Diogo Seston’s options are: Bruno, Daniel Marcos, Lucas Pelesi, Murillo, Vitor, Ryan, Rodrigo Varanda, Pedriño and Pedro.
Wednesday’s match is Corinthians’ first in the knockout stage of the competition. In the event of a tie, it is worth remembering that the match will be subject to penalty kicks. If they qualify, Corinthians will face Resende, of Rio de Janeiro, in the third stage. This will be the second time Timoziño has overtaken Carioca’s team in this edition – in the first, they won 2-1.
Diogo Seston’s team has not lost yet in this edition of Copina. In three matches, Alfinegro FC had three victories, against Resende, River, of Piaui, and São José, also of Sao Paulo.
Corinthians is the biggest champion in the São Paulo Cup. In his last participation, he stopped in the semi-finals, after a 3-1 defeat to Internacional, who would become the champion of that edition. The Alfinegra squad had players such as Xavier, Guilherme Vicenini, Lucas Piton, Adson, Gabriel Pereira and Gustavo Mantuan, who are now part of the professional team.
