Cirque du Soleil and Circocan hold a talent development workshop

This unprecedented event is being held in the south of the country in Mandiritoba, Paraná

The Curitiba metropolitan area will host an unprecedented event in the south of the country, the NexGen – Cirque du Soleil Talent Development Workshop in partnership with Circocan, from October 8 to 14. The meeting will bring together athletes and circus artists to exchange experiences with experts from the two companies and enhance training with the aim of identifying potential artists for Cirque du Soleil shows.

During the week of workshops, participants will have the opportunity to learn and participate in the training process with world-renowned professionals.

NexGen, Cirque du Soleil’s talent development programme, is implemented in partnership with training centers in the respective countries. In Brazil, the Canadian company selected Circocan to join its NexGen collaboration program.

Circucan, a circus company founded in Brazil in 2003, has extensive experience in building educational programs and teaching circus to adults, youth and children. Every year, the Circucan team coordinates circus programs for children and teens in the United States, as well as holding circus courses and immersions in Brazil at its training center, located in Rancho MC – Mandiritoba Municipality, which hosts events, artistic residencies, experiences and circus practices.

The workshop is held in Rancho MC, in the municipality of Mandiritaba, located 45 km from Curitiba.
The site is home to the Circucan Training Centre.

Rancho MC has more than 100,000 square meters of green space, with lakes, forests, fields and a built-up area that includes an indoor gymnasium, lounges, pavilions, chalets, accommodation, dining rooms, industrial kitchens and sports fields.
