During a stand-up show at the Lyrics Art Center in Baltimore, USA, Chris Rock spoke again about the room he scored from Will Smith at the 2022 Oscars. The comedian joked about the incident.
“I am just fine. I’m fine. Recovering from cuts and injuries … most of the time, ”Chris told WJZ TV’s Annie Rose Ramos.
Chris’ lines came after the comedian’s mother, Rose Rock, reported to WIS-TV. “When he slapped Chris, he slapped all of us,” he said. “Because you hurt my son, you hurt me,” the woman pointed out.
Controversy
After attacking the comedian, Will Smith was banned from the Oscars for the next 10 years. In a letter, Academy President David Rubin says: “For 10 years from April 8, 2022, Mr. Smith will not be able to attend any academy event or event live or almost exclusively, including the Oscars.
The incident is said to have caused a rift between the actor and his wife Jada Pinkett Smith. According to Heat magazine, the couple is close to divorce.
