CCJ approves bill requiring SUS to distribute concealed disability tape

The House Committee on Constitution, Justice and Citizenship approved a bill requiring SUS (Unified Health System) to distribute free ribbons with sunflower designs to identify people with hidden disabilities.

Rapporteur, Deputy Alex Manenti (Cidadania-SP), submitted its opinion on the constitutionality of the Constitutional Law (draft law). 2,621 of 23from MP Captain Alberto Neto (pl-am). He just made an artistic adjustment to the text.

Hidden disabilities are those that may not be noticed right away, such as autism spectrum disorder, deafness, etc.

Ribbon with sunflower designs is already used in many countries around the world as a symbol to recognize these states.

The proposal is amended Statute for Persons with Disabilities.

The project has been thoroughly analyzed and may go to the Senate, unless there is an appeal to vote on it in the plenary session of the Council.
