Cassio reacts to the appearance of new characters in the game Cruzero.

Four friends, Gustavo Brandt, Francisco Jardini, Guilherme Zones and Urbano Neto, watched Cassio’s first match with Cruzeiro from the stands at Independencia. On and off the pitch, the quartet delighted fans with their adopted uniform: a black wig and a headband, just like Cruzeiro’s new goalkeeper shows up in matches.

The likenesses of Cassio, Brandt, Gardini, Arias and Neto were in the private sector of Ismenia, near the glass that separates the stands from the pitch. In this stained glass window, the group joked with the fans and tried to get the attention of the goalkeeper, who reacted.

“I saw one there (a fan described as Cassio). My hair is better than his (laughs). I haven’t seen the others yet. It’s beautiful in terms of affection and respect, and I’m taking it in stride, and I think it’s great. Everything is fine, they came to support. They helped support Capolosso,” said Cassio, after being asked by reporters. Itataya.

Casio sent a message to the masses.

After the match in an interview with ItatayaCassio highlighted the reception of the Cruzeiro fans and praised the importance of the Blue Nation.

“I want to thank all the people of Minas Gerais. Since I arrived, I have been received very well, the reception has been very friendly. It is really great to arrive somewhere and be received well by all the people, as well as your fans. Happy for the debut, for the victory, for the group. We won the last away game very well and we continued today. I am happy to arrive and to be able to help. I am really happy. I just thank you for everything.”

“I’ve always played against [o Cruzeiro] It was very difficult. The atmosphere that was created was very nice. Congratulations to the fans for being with the club and helping them. He concluded: “The fans created a very important atmosphere for the team to be well organized.”
