Cars manufactured in the Jundiaí region in the 1970s are on display at JundiaíShopping

The vintage car show will be even more special on Wednesday (30). Closing the 2022 meetings, the event aims to promote the Jundiaí tradition in the model essay, as well as honor 40 years of the Clube do Carro Antigo de Jundiaí (CCAJ).

Therefore, the project provides a unique opportunity for car enthusiasts: to get acquainted with one of the 17 Concorde C2 units, manufactured in the Jundiaí region in 1976.

The car is on display on the Nove de Julho floor (in front of Centauro), at JundiaíShopping.

The car was developed in Jundiaí by João Storani and manufactured in Vinhedo and, in addition to its exclusive design inspired by models from the 1930s, was produced in automatic transmission and 4-speed manual.

There were only 17 units, of which three were exported. Years later, one of these units was offered for sale in the United States and brought back to Brazil by a Brazilian collector,” says Dimas Frasone Rinaldo, president of the Clube do Carro Antigo de Jundiaí.

This event on Wednesday (30), from 6 pm to 9 pm, has other effects in the G4 parking lot.

All vintage cars will be open to the public, but the auto show area will be reserved for original vehicles over 30 years old. Since the event is for the whole family, there will also be some attractions for children, such as inflatable games, popcorn, and cotton candy.

In addition, the release again contains an important social action: Old car owners who donate 2 kg of non-perishable food will receive free parking during the event.

The donations collected will go to the permanent campaign of the Jundiaí Social Solidarity Fund.

It is important to note that if it rains, the event may be postponed.
