Duchess Camilla canceled a trip to Cheltenham, a town in Gloucestershire, England, on Thursday. The wife of Prince Charles has been complaining of persistent symptoms of Covid-19 and was due to attend an awards ceremony at the Knights Club.
According to information from People magazine, Camilla Parker-Bowles is “following the rhythm” after being diagnosed with Covid-19 last month. On March 8, when she set up a reception in her home for International Women’s Day, which had been invited by dignitaries from the UK, the Duchess complained of a persistent cough.
“It took three weeks and I still haven’t made it. Maybe my voice suddenly disappears, and I could start coughing and choking all of a sudden,” she told the event to some dignitaries and reporters.

On February 14, in a brief statement, a Clarence House spokesperson said: “Her Royal Highness The Duchess of Cornwall has tested positive for COVID-19 and is self-isolating. We continue to follow government guidance.” Like Prince Charles, Camilla was vaccinated with the third dose.
This is the second canceled appointment for the Duchess of Cornwall, who also missed an event scheduled for last Monday, when she and Charles were supposed to meet High Commissioners and officials in the Commonwealth Secretariat.
On February 10, Prince Charles tested positive for the disease, but after a period of isolation, he returned to his royal duties. Just like Queen Elizabeth herself, who tested positive on February 20 and is now maintaining her normal schedule.
