Businessman Robert Renan reveals the young man’s desire to establish himself in Corinthians before going to Europe

Defender Robert Renan has been one of Corinthians’ star players this season. The defender is still very young and has already been speculated abroad, but he plans to establish himself at the club first and then consider his international career.

The revelation was made by Eduardo Bo Day, Athletic Director. Robert was revealed in the Corinthians’ core categories and promoted to the main team this season, under Vitor Pereira.

“I am always in Europe, so I visited some clubs in the last window and many asked about him, but he was not in the process that he is today. Although Robert Renan is only 19 years old, he is already searching for his space in the main team and has been much praised by his teammates and Corinthians coach. Due to his young age, the businessman recognized the possibility of vicissitudes, but emphasized that the young man was not impressed by what he found.

He added shortly thereafter, “Robert is a very calm boy, he was not impressed by the teasing. Wobble can happen, but you always have to keep your head in place and your feet on the ground.”

Robert Renan has 11 appearances for the main team Corinthians, split between five wins, three draws and three defeats. All matches are valid for the Brazilian Championship and the Brazilian Cup.
