BTS V and ATEEZ’s San singers have tested positive for Covid-19

It seems that no one has even been able to escape contracting Covid-19 in the past few months. V, a member of the K-Pop group BTS, has joined the list of celebrities infected with the virus.

According to Soompi outlet, BigHit Music released the news on February 15th via an official statement. The company claims that the singer has been in contact with the other members of the group, but they were all wearing masks and no member, besides V, has tested positive for the disease in tests carried out at home:

He has completed two rounds of COVID-19 vaccinations and has no unusual symptoms other than a mild fever and sore throat. He is currently undergoing treatment at home pending further guidance from health authorities.

Unfortunately, J was not the only K-pop singer to be infected with the Covid-19 virus. According to information from Soompi, KQ Entertainment has released a note stating that San, a member of the ATEEZ group, has tested positive for the virus and is undergoing treatment at home.

Some of the members had just returned from a US tour and had undergone PCR tests again, according to health authorities’ guidelines.

Yunho, Mingi and Wooyoung tested negative on February 15 and are under self-quarantine as instructed by disease control authorities. All ATEEZ members have completed their second doses of their vaccine and San currently has no specific symptoms, the company wrote.
