Outside of Globo, actress Bruna Marquezin continues to work in drama and film, and on Monday (15) revealed that she finished second to play the supergirl in DC Comics’ “The Flash.”

The news was presented during an interview with the Nipples podcast. According to Globo’s actress, the pandemic disrupted plans and prevented her from being in London, England, where the movie was filmed.

“There was no way to go, they tried in every possible way. But that wasn’t the only reason, it was her (Sasha Kali) turn,” Bruna said.

Bruna Marquezine also said that she was the only Brazilian certified to pursue casting auditions for a DC movie. “I’ve heard about some actress names that I consider far more capable than me. I was the only Brazilian certified. I went into the top five, and I went to number two. Until then, it was about a character we didn’t have much information about,” he revealed. .

Not being able to go to London, Bruna did a virtual audition with Miller, who plays The Flash in theaters, and he was praised. “He was [chamado] Cold test. And he said, “This cold test came straight from hell, so good!”
