Britney vs Spears | Netflix announces new documentary about the singer’s guardianship

Since the release of the documentary Britney Spears framing, which is original from Hulu and available in Brazil in the Globoplay catalog, the whole world was aware of what was going on with the singer. Now, a new production will be launched this month to complement the story: Britney vs Spears.

The singer, who became one of the most popular and successful singers of the 2000s, has been under the tutelage of her father since 2008, claiming that she is not psychologically incapable of taking care of her personal life and career. Therefore, for more than 10 years, Britney has had no control over her personal and professional decisions, nor her finances.

The new documentary is an original production of Netflix, which made a mysterious announcement on social media. In the short joke, released this Tuesday (21), it is possible to hear the voice of Britney Spears herself in a letter to a lawyer. Recorded, per the caption, on January 21, 2009, at 12:29 am.

The voice, unfinished, says, “Hi, my name is Britney Spears. I called you earlier. I’m calling you back because I wanted to make sure during the de-custodial process.” Listen:

The trailer is slated to be released later this Wednesday (22), with its premiere on September 28, a day before Britney Spears’ next hearing is scheduled in the US.
