Travelers' Choice Award

Travelers' Choice, awarded by Tripadvisor, is a distinction given to destinations that receive positive reviews and opinions from platform users over a 12-month period.

This achievement reinforces global appreciation for the natural beauty that Brazilian beaches offer to visitors.

While Baía do Sancho, in Fernando de Noronha, ruled last year, ceding its crown to Praia da Falésia, in Portugal, the presence of Ipanema and Morro Alto highlights the diversity of Brazilian beaches.

It is worth noting that Ipanema Beach is not new to international awards, as it recently ranked second among the 100 best beaches in the world, according to the Lonely Planet website.

In South America, Brazil claims five Beaches Among the top 10 hotels in travelers' picks, Ipanema and Morro Alto top the list.

Ipanema Beach is located in Rio de Janeiro, and is ranked 17th among the 25 best beaches in the world for 2024, according to the Travellers' Choice website, and is distinguished by its diversity of activities.

In addition to waves perfect for surfing, the sand hosts volleyball matches and sunset viewing. On the waterfront, the bars provide a unique experience, making it a complete destination for coastal lovers.

The 25th place was reserved for Praia de Muro Alto, belonging to the Pernambuco district of Porto de Galinhas.
