On social media, Bolsonaro has not updated his health since Sunday, the fifth of this month, but he continues to publish posts criticizing the government and the left. The most recent complaints concern other countries demanding that Brazil take sustainability measures and “trying to force what it does not adhere to down the throats of others.”
Problems since the weekend
Bolsonaro was hospitalized in Manaus on Saturday the 4th, but left the hospital on the same day to pursue his agenda in the Premier League. “I had a case of erysipelas. I didn’t sleep all last night. My wife and the doctors didn’t want me to come, but I had an appointment here. I’m a bit of a fool. So, I came and I was treated well by the doctors,” he said.
Less than 24 hours later, he returned on Sunday, the fifth of this month, to receive medical treatment. Before returning to the hospital, Bolsonaro spoke to his supporters, during an official statewide event, with his arm covered in bandages, and stated that he had been admitted to the Hospital of Santa Julia de Manaus, with erythema and dehydration.
This is not the first time you have encountered the problem. In 2022, Bolsonaro contracted the same infection, erysipelas, after losing the election, having canceled the timetables in November of that year.
The then Vice President, Hamilton Mourao, said that the illness prevented the then President from wearing pants.
