Bolsonaro details meetings with leaders in the G20 and ‘trampled’ at the foot of Angela Merkel

In an interview with CNN Brazil On Monday morning (1), the President of the Republic Jair Bolsonaro (no concert) He detailed some of the meetings he had with great world leaders during the annual summit of G20, including the “step” that accidentally landed on the chancellor of Germany, Angela Merkel.

“The conversation with Angela Merkel was excellent. It started that afternoon, in a crowded room. I took a few steps back and ended up stepping on her comb. Then she looked at me and said, ‘It could only be you!'” She’s known me for a long time. I I’m not a thick guy. I’m an honest and objective guy. And at night fate wanted us to stay with her. Merkel called me to talk for 30 minutes and we almost danced in the middle of the room, one loves the other,” Bolsonaro said.

Also in the interview, the president said he was unable to speak to the President of the United States, Joe Biden, who would be “too reserved for everyone, say too little.” However, Bolsonaro stated that the policy of closer relations with the country is of great interest to him, in continuation of what he did with former President Donald Trump.

We will be the north and south hub and we will be a great partner. After all, our countries complement each other, and it is a country that, together with ours, is one of the largest democracies in the world,” Bolsonaro said.

The president of Brazil also said he had spoken with the US special climate envoy, John Kerry, but said he could not give details about the conversation.
