Blumenau Center will have another demonstration over the weekend. This time, the event will take place on Sunday, August 1. The goal is to appreciate nursing professionals and the SUS, who are at the forefront of the fight against Covid-19.
The demonstration will take place in Praça do Tetro Carlos Gomes, on XV de Novembro. Focus will be from 2:30 PM. The recommendation is that people wear white in appreciation of the professionals.
Among the demands are the defense against the privatization of SUS and the approval of Draft Law No. 2564 Which sets the minimum salary for nurses, nursing technicians, nursing assistants and midwives and 30 hours worked per week.
Due to concerns about crowding during the pandemic, everyone should wear appropriate masks and alcohol gel. The distance between attendees must also be respected.
The focus is carried out by the Unified Federation of Workers of the Municipal Public Service of Blumenau (Sintracip), the Federation of Employees of the Health Services Institutions of Blumenau and the Regional Nursing Council of Santa Catarina (Corin).
