Rio – With a look inspired by the Xuxa costume, Pedro Sampaio entertained revelers with Bloco da Favorita, Sunday morning (4), in three electric trios, on 1° de Marco Street, in central Rio. In addition to this event, a traditional DJ plays carioca and other musical styles. This year, the Favorita concert, with an estimated audience of 250,000 people, featured a performance by Vijao and a tribute to singer Preeta Gill.

Paola Oliveira, who performed at the last artistic rehearsal of the Grande Rio on Saturday night (3) in Sabucay, woke up early to make her debut as presenter of a group invited by TikTok.

“No one wakes up at five in the morning if the forecast is not good. We have make-up, a beautiful coastal man, head and everything, it will be beautiful. I will attract the audience, but then there is Pedro Sampaio, there is no wrong way. I already love Bloco da Favorita and I did not participate In it for a long time, but TikTok, which is a very new and modern platform, invited me. I will be doing the show, I'm not a big fan of it, “but I will be doing the magic of the carnival,” the actress said.

The massive building, known for attracting crowds, began to gather while still empty, but was soon filled with revelers eager for fun. Despite the hot weather, the infectious energy of duo Denis Gomez dos Santos and Miranda Nascimento did not diminish. “I like the harmony and joy among people,” the young man said. “Apart from the robberies and robberies, I think it’s great.”

For Miranda, who is in the second group this year, the carnival is all about having a good time. “The joy of the people, the enthusiasm and the human warmth. I think only Brazilians enjoy that,” he added.

Heir's carnival version of the traditional “Baile da Favorita” featured confetti flying above the audience, making everyone dance to the tunes of “Galopa”, “Cavalho”, “No Chão Novinha” and other songs and tunes like an axe.

Sampaio, who rocked the party, also had high expectations for the event. “My music is the face of Carnival. We have number one in Brazil today. So, I had the opportunity to lead a band for the first time. Carnival in Rio is ecstasy for me, it is the warmth of the Brazilian people,” Almighty said.

Celebrities such as Douglas Silva and former BBB Ricardo Alves were also keen to enjoy the celebrations.
