Rod Fergusson, Blizzard’s senior vice president and head of the Diablo franchise, confirmed on social media that Diablo IV and Vessel of Hatred will be updated to take advantage of the additional power provided by the PS5 Pro hardware.
“I’ve been getting this question a lot lately.”“, wrote Ferguson (trans VGC). “I’m happy to say that Diablo IV and Vessel of Hatred will indeed be optimized for PS5 Pro. Very proud of our team working hard to make this happen. More details later.”
Diablo IV thus becomes the first Microsoft title to be part of more than 50 games that will support the PS5 Pro when it launches on November 7, with some names already confirmed on this list being Final Fantasy VII Rebirth, Alan Wake 2, Alan Wake 2, and GPS. The Last of Us, Hogwarts Legacy, Dragon’s Dogma 2, Gran Turismo 7, among others.
Some studios have recently commented on how they are using the new console to improve their games. It is already on pre-sale in Brazil for R$7,000.
