In an official statement, the White House said Martinez, a lawyer and writer, has been appointed US executive director of the IDP Board, with Mauricio Clover-Caron as the first American to hold the post.
Martinez, a member of the Democratic Party and leader of the Hispanic Caucasus, is the founder of the Non-Partisan Center for Democracy and Development in the United States and the director of LMN Consulting. In addition, he served on the Virginia Commonwealth Small Business Law Commission and on the interim committee of Virginia Governor Ralph Northam.
A native of Argentina and the founder of MFJ International, M.S. Fidian appointed George Fidiana as Deputy Director of IDP. Born and raised in Puerto Rico, Maria Louisa Pagan has served as the country’s deputy business representative in the Geneva office.
With more than three decades of experience as a business negotiator for the U.S. government, Pagan is currently the Deputy General Adviser in the Office of the U.S. Trade Representative.
The positions are confirmed by the US Senate. EFE
