After reaching a range of financial action capable of raising inflation in Sweden, Beyoncé’s ninth “Renaissance” tour reaches a new record, and it’s now in the US.
The numbers generated by shows in the country were revealed on Tuesday (8), and indicate that the “Renaissance World Tour” visit to New Jersey, last July 29, earned the singer and her team about $16.5 million. The result gives the show the title of highest-grossing all-female show in history.
Launched in May this year and after 33 shows, “Renaissance World Tour” has already surpassed US$295 million in box office sales, but there is still a long way to go. More presentations are planned for the United States and Canada. For comparison purposes, Beyoncé’s last tour, “Formation,” grossed $210 million at the end of the tour. There are no plans for shows in Brazil or South America. (fullpress)
