On Thursday, FIFA announced the three finalists for the World Player of the Year award at The Best 2023 ceremony. The current winner of the award is the Argentine star. FIFA has been awarding the FIFA World Player of the Year award since 1991, and the FIFA World Player of the Year award since 2001.
