In 2022, the first edition received 27 science projects from primary and secondary school students from different schools in the city of Mozambino, in different fields of knowledge. About 500 people visited the fair, including students and workers from Campus Muzambinho and public and private schools in the cities and surrounding areas.
From 2023, given the interest of the community and the potential of the event, students from any school of the microdistrict municipalities of Baixa Mogiana can participate, as shown on the AMOG website: Arceburgo, Areado, Bandeira do Sul, Bom Jesus da Penha, Potillos, Cape Verde, And Conceição da Aparecida, Guaranícia, Guacobe, Itamogi, Jaco, Guruaya, Moca, Monte Bello, Monte Santo de Minas, Mozambiño, Nova Resende and São Pedro da União.
FECT also aims to involve teachers and future educators in the development of innovative pedagogical practices in schools; In addition to bringing the Mozambiño campus closer to public and private schools.
Who can participate?
Any institution, whether public or private, that is abreast of the tax, labor and other legal regulations to which it is subject, and that is willing to value and encourage the development of education, science and technology among young people.
Companies that have a contractual relationship with IFSULDEMINAS Campus Muzambinho will not be able to participate in this notice.
How is the participation?
The partner organization must, at first, carry out the free registration of its interests through the link here Until 06/16/2023.
You must adhere to the following:
– Send a delegate to visit the exhibition, on 06/28/2023, at the Poliesportivo do Campus Muzambinho, from 1:30 pm to 3:00 pm, and evaluate the works shown during this period, according to areas of interest;
– The representative of the institution must be present at the awards ceremony that will be held on the same day 06/28/2023, starting at 4:00 pm.
Presenting 1 (one) project, during the awards ceremony, directly to the students in any form of gift (books, kits, equipment, internships, scholarships, art visits, monetary value, etc.). Expect each award project to have up to 3 students and a supervisor, with or without a co-supervisor. That is, gifts can be individual or group.
IFSULDEMINAS Campus Muzambinho will not receive or manage any kind of financial resources from partner institutions; Prizes/giveaways, including those that may be paid in cash, will be delivered directly by the Company to the recipient(s).
Why is the name of the partner organization associated with FECT?
By signing a partnership for grants for works presented at the 2nd Education, Science and Technology Exhibition (FECT) at the IFSULDEMINAS Muzambinho Campus, the partner institution is taking an important step towards good social responsibility practices with a focus on education, science and technology development among youth and student championships. This decision will contribute to strengthening the brand and corporate image not only in the community of southern Minas Gerais, since IFSULDEMINAS Campus Muzambinho has a 70-year tradition of offering free and high-quality public education, and has national and international recognition.
What is the contribution of FECT to the partner organization?
A certificate of participation as a partner institution will be presented;
There will be a display of the brand in the news associated with FECT with reference to the works awarded by each partner organization;
Participation in award ceremony, with direct delivery of prizes/gifts to students;
Each organization may, if they wish, display a marketing element, subject to available space, eg: Banner.
